Job Description
Implementation Consultants participate in all phases of the
implementation of the PeopleSoft pension administration
module. These phases range from gathering requirements and
performing fit/gap analysis to parameterization and testing
the system. Depending on the phase of the project and scope,
you may work independently or in a team environment.
Since PensionSmart, Inc. provides on site delivery,
Implementation Consultants have the opportunity to act as en
expert resource for clients on a daily basis to ensure a
quality end product. On site delivery allows our
Implementation Consultants to not only become more valuable to
clients but also challenges them to enhance their consulting
skills.
In addition to system implementations, the Implementation
Consultant is expected to contribute to building the
foundation of a new company with aggressive growth objectives.
Examples include creating internal knowledge sharing documents
and developing additional training materials. Identifying and
executing such items is supported.
Job Requirements
A minimum of two years of experience in the administration of
defined benefit pension plans or actuarial consulting
experience and related work experience involving the
automation of pension calculations is required. Previous
responsibilities must include both functional and technical
aspects.
Strong analytical, communication, and technical skills are
critical. Ideal candidate would have previous consulting
experience. Valuable technical skills include SQL, COBOL, and
PeopleTools or similar application development tools.
A college degree in a related discipline such as business,
mathematics, or computer science is also required. Previous
experience with actuarial exams beneficial.
Implementation Consultants must be able to travel 100% of the

Additional Information
Full Time, Permanent Position
Level is determined by experience. All level positions are
available.
Compensation is commensurate with experience and can include
bonuses.
