Founding Partners

Two individuals felt they could do a better job implementing the PeopleSoft Pension Administration product by developing an entire firm, dedicated to the product. Based on this ambition, Joseph Lojko and Mark Tomsheck combined their knowledge, experience and philosophies and founded PensionSmart. The company is still centered on the basic principle that by concentrating exclusively on one thing, you can do it better.

Our feeling is that by focusing our business exclusively around this product, we are able to more effectively hire and train consultants, deliver specialized services, and implement the Pension Administration product. We do not experience the high volume that we might with Payroll, HRMS and other modules. But in this case, we feel that the lower volume fits with our goal of delivering the very best services.  We have chosen quality over quantity because that is how we measure success.

Joseph A. Lojko

Joe Lojko strives to bring the best quality service to PensionSmart customers. Mr. Lojko achieves this goal through hiring and training the best consultants in the industry. Mr. Lojko also continues to enhance the implementation process through improving methodologies and developing specialized tools for implementing the Pension Administration product.

Mr. Lojko has also contributed to the improvement of the Pension Administration product through providing his own services to the PeopleSoft Pension Administration development teams during the release cycles of PeopleSoft 7.5 and PeopleSoft 8.

Joseph Lojko has been designing, developing and implementing benefit calculation software since 1995. Before co-founding PensionSmart, Mr. Lojko worked for PeopleSoft Professional Services as the Pension Administration product lead. In addition to providing services for the PA product, as product lead Mr. Lojko supported other PeopleSoft consultants working with the Pension Administration product and worked with product development, product strategy and strategic customers for PeopleSoft.

Previous to his employment at PeopleSoft, Mr. Lojko worked for William M. Mercer, Inc., with pension benefit calculation and administration software. At Mercer, Mr. Lojko designed, developed, implemented and supported pension administration software products for Mercer clients and for internal use.
